‘Cotswold Finest’ is our own 54-mile circular Cotswold walking route. It starts and finishes in Moreton in Marsh with its own rail links. The route passes through the most beautiful Cotswold scenery. You will visit the very prettiest towns and villages in The Cotswolds. We have set out below our 6 walking day itinerary.

You will be staying in carefully selected Cotswold accommodation. All our twin or double rooms will have ensuite bathroom facilities. A full English or Continental breakfast is included each morning, where available.

Price is £815 per person based on two people sharing a double or twin ensuite room. Single supplement (your own room) is £65 per night.

Day 1

Arrive Moreton-in-Marsh Your first night here and a chance to become acquainted with the lovely Cotswold town.

Day 2

Moreton-in-Marsh to Stow on the Wold Walking from Moreton-in-Marsh, you walk through the small villages of Longborough & Broadwell with their pretty inns and churches onto Stow on the Wold market town & centre of wool trade in medieval England.

Day 3

Stow on the Wold to Bourton on the Water Today you travel on the Macmillan Way to the lovely villages of Upper & Lower Slaughters and on to the River Windrush. The route then takes you to Bourton on the Water know locally as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”.

Day 4

Bourton on the Water to Winchcombe Today you travel on the lovely Wardens’ & Windrush Way to Winchcombe, walking capital of The Cotswolds. Nearby is ‘Sudeley Castle’, dating back to the 12th century.

Day 5

Winchcombe to Broadway Today’s walk passes ‘Hailes Abbey’ a very popular place of medieval pilgrimage and onto the picturesque villages of Stanway & Stanton finishing in the elegant town of Broadway.

Day 6

Broadway to Chipping Campden This leg of the route takes you up onto the hills with wonderful views and chance to see ‘Broadway Tower’ and explore the delightful market town of Chipping Campden.

Day 7

Chipping Campden to Moreton in Marsh The route passes through Broad Campden the lovely village of Blockley and along Monarch’s Way to Moreton-in-Marsh.
