‘Cotswold Finest’ a 54-mile Circular Route
Welcome to our own Cotswold hiking holiday. We are delighted to offer you ‘Cotswold Finest’ Circular Tour walk of the Cotswolds. It is a 54-mile circular route starting and finishing in the market town of Moreton in Marsh. The town has it’s own rail links, making those wishing to use trains, easy access to the route.
You will experience inspirational scenery. Splendid historic honey-coloured Cotswold stone houses and many quaint villages, home to traditional shops and cafes. This Cotswold hiking holiday is a genuine delight to explore. Providing people of all ages with an ideal walking holiday for all the family.
The Cotswold Finest Circular Tour is a favourite route of ours, See the best of the Cotswolds as you travel along the Macmillan Way route. Head towards the timeless towns of Upper and Lower Slaughter, before seeing the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ town of Bourton-on-the-Water. The Windrush Way walk will take you to Winchcombe (home to The Cotswold Walking Company), where you will have the chance to visit historical sites such as Hailes Abbey and Sudeley Castle. The latter part of our Cotswold Finest Circular Tour will take you Chipping Campden, before joining Monarch’s Way trail back towards Moreton-in-Marsh.
We choose local Cotswold accommodation we know and trust, including traditional B&Bs, cosy hotels and friendly guesthouses. All rooms will come with ensuite bathroom facilities. You can enjoy a full English or Continental breakfast each morning (where available). We also include daily luggage transfers. You will be provided with detailed daily walking notes and mapping of your Cotswold Finest holiday route. Finally, we give you a helpful list of Cotswold information including what to bring with you for each Cotswold hiking holiday.
You can see below we have provided two Cotswold Finest itineraries for 6 and 7 days hiking. If you would like to walk the route over more (or less) days then get in touch. We will give you your own itinerary to hike the route.
