‘Cotswold Finest’ is our own 54-mile circular Cotswold walking route. It starts and finishes in Moreton in Marsh with its own rail links. The route passes through the most beautiful Cotswold scenery. You will visit the very prettiest towns and villages in The Cotswolds. We have set out below our 7 walking day itinerary.

Experience the beautiful Cotswold region. Visit historical sites, see quaint villages and browse market towns. Enjoy a beautiful Cotswold walking route. You will be staying in carefully selected Cotswold accommodation. All our twin or double rooms will have ensuite bathroom facilities. A full English or Continental breakfast is included each morning, where available.

Price is £925 per person based on two people sharing a double or twin ensuite room. Single supplement (your own room) is £65 per night

Day 1

Arrive Moreton-in-Marsh Your first night here and a chance to become acquainted with the lovely Cotswold town.

Day 2

Moreton-in-Marsh to Stow on the Wold Walking from Moreton-in-Marsh, you walk through the small villages of Longborough & Broadwell with their pretty inns and churches onto Stow on the Wold market town & centre of wool trade in medieval England. [Distance 8 Miles / 13 Kms]

Day 3

Stow on the Wold to Bourton on the Water Today you travel on the Macmillan Way to the lovely villages of Upper & Lower Slaughters and on to the River Windrush. The route then takes you to Bourton on the Water know locally as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”. [Distance 7 Miles / 11 Kms]

Day 4

Walk from Bourton on the Water to Guiting Power Today you travel on the lovely Wardens’ & Windrush Way trails through valley and woodland past the village of Naunton to your destination of Guiting Power. [Distance 6 Miles / 10 Kms]

Day 5

Walk from Guiting Power to Winchcombe On leaving Guiting Power you will climb a Cotswold Escarpment and go through woodland with great views across the Evesham Valley down to the Town of Winchcombe and the historic Sudelely Castle.
[Distance 7 Miles / 11 Kms]

Day 6

Walk from Winchcombe to Broadway Today you will follow the Cotswold Way National Trail past Hailes Abbey and the pretty villages of Stanway with its Jacobean Manor and Stanton, then continue to your destination of lovely village of Broadway. [Distance 12 Miles / 19 Kms]

Day 7

Walk from Broadway to Chipping Campden Today you will climb up to Broadway Tower and enjoy some magnificent views on the Cotswold escarpment and onto the historic market town of Chipping Campden. [Distance 6 Miles / 10 Kms]

Day 8

Walk from Chipping Campden to Moreton in Marsh The route passes through Broad Campden and the lovely village of Blockley and along Monarch’s Way back to your starting destination of Moreton-in-Marsh. [Distance 8 Miles / 13 Kms]

Travel Arrangements
