Well, this year has certainly been a big challenge! We have experienced difficulties like many other businesses coping with all the restrictions in dealing with the pandemic. There are, however, many positives that we can take out of this experience. Moving forward, we are excited to offer our customers fantastic Cotswold Way hiking holidays in 2021!
This year The Cotswold Way has remained, in part, open to tourists. We have still been able to welcome hikers from all over the world, including The USA, Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany and of course the UK. This has helped our business to continue to offer great value hiking holidays in The Cotswolds. The Cotswold Way is still proving to be one of the most popular hiking holidays in the world.
We have been offering our own 54-mile circular hike, ‘Cotswold Finest’ for 5 years now. It offers our guests a chance to experience some beautiful places in The Cotswolds. These are often missed by many tourists to the region. It complements the very popular Cotswold Way National Trail. Our route can be walked at a gentle pace over 6 or 7 days, giving plenty of time for sightseeing in the region. The route begins and ends in Moreton in Marsh. This charming Cotswold town offers rail links from all of The UK’s main towns and cities. Ask us if you would like help arranging your travel plans.
So, overall we consider ourselves fortunate. Our business has been able to continue and grow. We really enjoy our work and get to welcome genuinely lovely guests from different parts of the world. In a few weeks, we will welcome in a new year. At The Cotswold Walking Co we look forward to our 12th year in business with hope and excitement.
