Food on The Cotswold Way

We often get asked about what Food on The Cotswold Way will be on offer?

Firstly, its’ important to say that we are able to cater for a range of dietary requirements. So if you are a vegetarian or vegan, gluten intolerant or coeliac, we can cater for your requirements.

Breakfasts on The Cotswold Way accommodation will usually consist of cereals, fresh fruit, toast and jam. Most accommodations will also offer full English breakfasts. This is bacon, sausage, eggs, beans and fried bread. Don’t expect to lose much weight on your Cotswold Walking Holiday!

Cotswold Way cooked breakfast

Lunches can be sandwiches prepared by your hosts. These are carried in your daypacks to be eaten on the route. Alternatively, you will often be able to stop on the route at tea rooms, local inns or shops and purchase your own lunch. We offer advice as part of your information pack. This is emailed to you 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date. Also included are places of interest on the route. Further information about what to bring and wear to The Cotswolds. Food on The Cotswold Way Packed lunch

Dinners can sometimes be arranged with your hosts if available. All towns and most villages will have either restaurants or pubs with a wide variety of choice for evening meals. Everywhere we use for overnight accommodation you will be able to get food on The Cotswold Way. If you would like recommendations then ask your hosts. We also provide more information in our packs.
